Quirks Worth Knowing

The named palette has some famous surprises: DarkGray (#A9A9A9) is lighter than Gray (#808080) because X11 and HTML defined gray differently. Green is #008000 while Lime is the full-intensity #00FF00. Aqua and Cyan are identical, as are Fuchsia and Magenta. All gray names also accept the British grey spelling.
