Privacy Policy

Overview

hextorgb does not require an account. The color tools are designed to perform conversion, generation, contrast calculation, and image processing in your browser. This policy distinguishes those tool inputs from the technical data needed to serve, measure, and protect the website.

Tool inputs

Color values, generated palettes, contrast pairs, and uploaded images are processed by browser-side code. We do not provide accounts or a server-side project store for that material, and uploaded images are not sent to an image-processing API.

If you intentionally use a shareable URL, the settings present in that URL are part of the normal web request and can be copied by anyone who receives the link. Do not put personal data, confidential project names, or secrets into seeds or shareable settings.

Local storage

Depending on the tool, your browser may store:

• recent colors and generated-color history;
• locked palette items and tool preferences; and
• your light or dark theme preference.

This local data stays in that browser unless you copy or export it. You can remove it with a tool's clear control where available or through your browser's site-data settings.

Analytics and performance

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand route-level usage and real-world performance. Product events, when recorded, use coarse categories such as tool, mode, constraint use, copy, export, success, or error. We do not intentionally include actual color values, uploaded-image contents, seeds, project identifiers, or free-form user text in custom analytics events.

These measurements help identify broken workflows and slow pages. They are not used to build advertising profiles on hextorgb.

Hosting and request data

Vercel hosts the site and necessarily processes technical request information such as the requested route, network and device information, timestamps, security signals, and performance data to deliver and protect the service. Vercel handles that data under its own privacy policy. Fonts used by the interface are bundled with the application rather than loaded from Google Fonts in the browser.

Your choices

You can clear local site data in your browser, avoid shareable URLs, and use browser privacy controls. Because hextorgb does not offer user accounts, there is no account profile or cloud color history to delete.

Policy changes

We will update the date above when this policy changes materially, including when a new storage, analytics, or server-side processing feature is introduced.
